As at end of November 2025

Global markets were mixed over November, in what was a volatile month due to economic data returning to the US post government shutdown, as well as Fed speak that was deemed quite hawkish, which in turn changed rate cut expectations for the December meeting vastly over the month.

A testamentary trust is a type of trust that is created through a person’s Will and takes effect upon death. Depending on your financial circumstances, this structure can provide the beneficiaries certain advantages in addition to an inheritance.

Ep. 53: Kyle De Souza, Resources Analyst & Immediate Past President of WA School of Mines Alumni

Our special guest for this fantastic episode of Finding the Front is Kyle De Souza, leading Resources Analyst for Euroz Hartleys and immediate past President of the WA School of Mines Alumni.

Originally from Bombay in India, Kyle aged 7, with his family moved to Perth and went about settling into life in WA.

Graduating from the WA School of Mines with Honours, he built a career as a mining engineer, spending some 15 years in hard rock mining across Western Australia. Over this period, Kyle achieved both a First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency and an Underground Shift Supervisors Certificate of Competency – not easy by any stretch.

Kyle was invited to join the Council of the WA School of Mines Alumni in 2012.

His career progressed to an established and valued position within mining success story Saracen Minerals. He then decided to make an important but difficult decision to pivot his career in a new direction towards the financial markets taking a role as a Resources Equity Analyst with the Equities Research team in Euroz Hartleys.

He was appointed to the highly regarded role of President of the WA School of Mines Alumni in 2022 for a 3 year term.

This is an absolute ripper with so many reflections and insights of life and building a career overlayed with a love of the mining industry and the people in it.

Our  fantastic library of episodes is a showcase of stories that provide real depth and insight into leadership and the life journey to get there.
